Mohamad Avicenna is a lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology and a psychologist in the Centre for Psychological Services, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, Indonesia. His main research interests relate to addictions, health behaviors, counseling and psychotherapy, psychological aspects of chronic diseases, and spiritual aspects in psychology. In his leisure time, he likes to cook, walk, bike, and listen to music.
Avicenna is a co-founder of the ICMH-SG and he is also a member of the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI) and Indonesian Educational Evaluation Association (HEPI).
