Problematic Internet use (PIU) <\/strong>AND INTERNET GAMING AMoNG College and university students WORLDWIDE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This project aimed to assess the patterns of Internet use among college and university students across different European and Asian countries, mainly focusing on problematic Internet use (PIU) and Internet gaming disorder (IGD). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project leaders<\/em> were Yatan Pal Singh Balhara (India), Dejan Stevanovic (Serbia), & Ana Doric (Croatia), with additional 25 investigators<\/em> and nearly 3400 participants tested<\/em> from more than 15 countries<\/em> so far. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent trauma and life stress events as related to major psychological problems among adolescents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project aimed to assess the relationships between life stressful events and traumatic events with emotional problems in adolescents from undeveloped and developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project leaders<\/em> were Olayinka Atilola (Nigeria) & Dejan Stevanovic (Serbia), with additional 20 investigators<\/em> and 4000 adolescents<\/em> from 11 countries<\/em> surveyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quality of life (QOL) and substance use among adolescents in undeveloped and developing countries<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project aimed to assess the relationship between quality of life (QOL) and adolescent substance use in general populations across undeveloped and developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project leaders<\/em> were Olayinka Atilola (Nigeria), Yatan Pal Singh Balhara (India), Rajna Knez (Croatia\/Sweden) & Dejan Stevanovic (Serbia), with additional 5 investigators<\/em> and 2400 adolescents from 7 countries <\/em>surveyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
